Course in no dig at Birr, Ireland October 19th

October 19 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 am  €125

At a community food commons and market garden, The Growery in Birr. Run by Eiminh David Shortt.

This is the first of two day-courses, when I teach and demonstrate the amazing possibilities offered by no dig.

During the day I explain the principles of no-dig growing and how it saves so much time! For beginners and experienced gardeners I show how to create a productive garden and show methods which will increase the growth and health of your plants. Efficient compost creation is also part of this course.

Compost on the surface results in healthy growth, few weeds and good moisture retention. I explain where to buy compost as well as how to make it.

You learn about clearing weeds without removing them or disturbing soil.

How to propagate plants in order to keep your beds full all the time.

How to grow and pick salads, all year round.
