This is the ideal time of year to brush up on your propagation skills. You learn all about sowing methods, choosing the right compost, the equipment needed, pricking out techniques, watering, when and where to sow and the benefits of multi sowing.

There will be practical demonstrations of what I teach and you can see what is growing in the Homeacres greenhouse.

We shall look also at vegetables we propagated from mid February and transplanted recently. I shall show you how I use a dibber to plant easily and rapidly.

The course includes tea and coffee.
