I have a no dig allotment in Staffordshire. We are high up here and the soil is a very heavy clay and incredibly wet in winter.
Since starting with the original half plot, I took on the abandoned other half late last summer.
Both plots were completely abandoned for 3-5y before I took them on.
I've found no dig works amazingly well on my clay soil.
