We have had a 430m² allotment in Braunschweig in Germany since August 2023.
At the beginning I tried to dig normally. After it took me three days to dig 10m² of garden space, I realized that "no dig gardening" is the only real way.
Digging was just too boring and annoying.
We have about 100m² for vegetables. The rest of the area is for fruit trees and fruit bushes.
Since 2025 we have had a second allotment with 400m², where we are also planning 100m² of bed space for vegetables.
We have used the areas to the maximum for growing fruit and vegetables.
