The proceeds go to St. Peter’s Hospice, Bristol. If you want to be creative in your garden or allotment and avoid unnecessary work my talk looks behind the many myths and misconceptions about composting.
The venue is the barn at family run Langford Farm, Organic Dairy and Beef Farm set in countryside overlooking the village of Woollard on the southern outskirts of Bristol. The farm, operating to the highest organic standards is licensed and inspected by the Soil Association, without doubt it provides the perfect setting for talking No Dig and Composting.
The expert chefs, Ubuntu Food, who regularly create feasts at the farm will be on hand to offer the choice of a single course vegetarian or beef stew lunch in a buffet style, relaxed sit anywhere you please atmosphere. This this will be an excellent opportunity to sample locally sourced organic vegetables and homebred beef from the farm.
We invite guests to arrive at 12.00pm to view examples of composting
materials used to help increased production of organic matter.
The farm has ample free parking.
