Beautiful vegetables, dramatic views: Charles explains his no dig intensive garden
Heading
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDjgJ6NroVEDrone footage mid September of Homeacres no dig garden, sixth year. You see the second plantings we make very quickly in summer after first harvests. This is a market garden selling produce within 4 miles/6km. No compost is added in summer before second plantings, because compost does not leach nutrients, so one dressing per year serves to grow two crops. Much time is saved. See how few weeds there are and I explain how we achieve that, plus watering methods and amounts. Plus the hours needed to run this three quarter acre/3000sqm property are 70-80 per week, two people, much of that is picking, also hedge trimming, fruit trees, mowing etc.
